Winter Blues and S.A.D.

From the way Sarah walked into my treatment room, I could tell her mood had deteriorated once again. She sat down without a word.  I had last seen Sarah the previous winter and through the summer. By September she had felt so much better that she was optimistic about being able to stop therapy and had done so.

By the following January, however, she once again felt tired, lethargic and sad. When she called for an appointment, her voice sounded lifeless and discouraged.
